Brodard | Garden Grove, CA

I am obsessed with spring rolls. Every time I visit California, I have to get the spring rolls from Brodard. I get the Nem Nöôùng Cuoán Spring Rolls which usually has pork sausage wrapped in rice paper with lettuce, cucumber, carrots, cilantros, chives, daikon, and mint served with their house special sauce. However, I usually get mine with noodles and take out some of the veggies. They also have this crunchy wonton stick in their rolls. Their sauce is my favorite part. My mom has tried to figure out how to make the sauce, but we can never put it together. If you guys are in California, you need to try Brodard in Garden Grove, California. You will not be disappointed.

Bruges Waffles and Frites | Provo, UT

The smell of caramelizing sugar drew me to walk into Bruges Waffles and Frites. The smell brought me back to when I was in Belgium. I remember the delicious waffles over there and always wondered if I could ever find a place that sold authentic Belgian Waffles in the US.

Well guess what?! They do!!! Bruges Waffles and Frites has amazing authentic Belgian waffles. As you take your first bit into their waffle, you get the little pieces of sugar in your mouth. It will satisfy your sweet tooth.

When you order a waffle, you can get all sorts of topping on your waffles. I personally like to get strawberries and Nutella on mine. Ahh, just talking about this, makes me want more!

42 Center St, Provo, UT 84601

They also have locations in Salt Lake City and a bus.

Smokin’ Star BBQ Food Truck

Don’t mind me as I drip BBQ all over my computer trying to write this post!

Danny and I decided to try the Smokin’ Star BBQ. I have never really been a fan of BBQ, but Danny loves anything BBQ. We ordered the pulled pork and beef brisket with potato salad.

Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the beef brisket! The flavors were just popping in my mouth! My tastebuds were jumping for joy because they approved of the brisket.

Better Burger Food Truck | Utah County

This was the first time I’ve ever had a burger from a food truck. For some reason I was craving a burger that day.

I ordered the Better Burger which had cheese, lettuce, tomato, and bacon. I ordered mine without tomato.

Danny ordered the Jalapeno Popper burger, which had cream cheese, tomato, lettuce, bacon, and jalapenos. This burger had a ton of flavors; it was delicious. I was hesitant to order it because I didn’t want anything spicy. But when I tried a bite of Danny’s burger I regret not ordering the Jalapeno Popper burger.

Both burgers were delicious and I highly recommend the Jalapeno Popper burger! Let me know of other good burger places in Utah County!
