Here is another local restaurant in St. George that was a favorite. It’s called The Granary Cafe, which is located in Santa Clara, Utah. The restaurant used to be a tithing settlement house back in the early 1900s.
We got the strawberry and creme patissiere crepe. The crepe was worth ordering, it was very light and airy. The creme also didn’t overpower the dish. It had the perfect amount of sweetness to compliment the crepe and strawberries.
We also ordered the today’s special French Toast, which had blueberries in the center. I’ve honestly never been a big fan of French Toast, except for certain places, but this French Toast was to die for.
Last, we ordered the Quiche Lorrain. I didn’t expect it to come out looking like a piece of pie for some reason. But it was dang good. The texture tasted similar to the texture of bread. It was the perfect savory dish to compliment our two sweet dishes.
If you guys are looking for a good restaurant, go to The Granary! It will be worth it! Danny and I definitely plan to go back the next time we go to St. George. I am also looking for other suggestions in St. George so let me know!
